– Full CNC blueprint machining, ( bore, deck, hone and line honed)

The Cylinder bores are blueprint bored from the crankshaft centerline, prior to being diamond-honed to within .0002″ for the precise piston to cylinder bore clearances. The main bore ( line bore) for the crankshaft is honed to precisely align the crankshaft in the engine block. Bore block back to crankshaft center CNC Block to Ra 13 finish. Piston diameter measured to the nearest .0001″ matched to cylinder bores. The cylinder block is surfaced to a surface finish of 30 RA or lower, which exceeds the factory specification in both flatness and smoothness for the block to head sealing surface. This is mandatory for the proper sealing of an MLS Gasket.

 

– Connecting Rods, new Damper and New Flexplate with automatic transmissions.

Check both wrist pin and crankpin to rod clearances.

 

NewMAHLE PistonsĀ  .020 or .040 over. 5.9 CUMMINS and .20 over 6.7 CUMMINS

New pistons, rings, Pin retainers weight-matched prior to crank balancing

 

– Crankshaft

INTERNALLY BALANCED Crankshaft is polished and ground to .0005 concentricity or less.

The core charge will be paid UPFRONT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2500.00 FOR A LONG BLOCK, AND $3500.00 FOR A FULL RUNNING ASSEMBLY. IF YOU CHOOSE TO SEND YOUR CORE IN FIRST THERE IS NO FEE CHARGED UPFRONT.

BY BUYING YOU AGREE TO HAVE THE ENGINE CORE READY FOR PICKUP AND RETURN TO US WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE ENGINE.

IF YOU HAVE NO CORE OR THE CORE IS NO GOOD.(CORE MUST HAVE NO VISIBLE CRACKS OR HOLES AND ROTATE 360 DEGREES WITH MAINLINE AND CRANK MEETING OUR SPECS) CORE WILL BE INSPECTED AND MUST MEET CHOATE SPECIFICATIONS TO DEEM IT A GOOD USABLE CORE.

THE ENGINE WILL BE SHIPPED BACK IN THE CRATE PROVIDED BY DIESEL DOCTOR OF TN/CHOATE ENGINEERING IN WHICH WE SHIPPED THE NEW ENGINE.

INSPECTION OF CORE TAKES APPROX, 30 DAYS. ONCE INSPECTED APPROPRIATE CORE FEES WILL BE KEPT AND BALANCE REMAINING WILL BE REFUNDED WITHIN 30 DAYS.

WE REQUIRE A LIKE FOR LIKE CORE. MEANING IF WE SEND YOU A LONG BLOCK WE REQUIRE EVERYTHING FROM YOUR CORE LONG BLOCK TO BE USABLE AND MACHINABLE. PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU SEND EXTRA PARTS THAT SHOULD NOT BE SENT, THEY MAY BE DISCARDED.
